The Special Campaign 5.0
As per the directions of the Ministry of Jal Shakti, the Ken-Betwa Link Project Authority (KBLPA) initiated Special Campaign 5.0 from October 2 to October 31, 2025. The campaign's main objectives included cleaning river banks, preventing pollution, promoting environmental awareness, and fostering collaborative relations between government and local communities in the Bundelkhand region.
Selection of Strategic Locations
Ten focal sites were identified, split equally across the Ken and Betwa river basins, spanning historical, ecological, and population centers. Sites included high-visibility locations like Khajuraho near the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pandavan Falls in the Panna Tiger Reserve, and cultural hubs at Orchha and Bhojpur.
